Worth knowing when receiving funding from the PDA

When your PDA application has been approved, there are a number of issues you should be aware of and important deadlines that you must comply with in order to receive the benefits.

Please note that you must be an active job seeker in order to be eligible to receive the benefits.

Monthly report
You must confirm continued unemployment and report working hours, holidays and breaks each month to receive the benefits. It is important that you always make a report - even if you are on holiday - otherwise you lose the opportunity to receive benefits for all 52 weeks. If you have been working, you must report working hours. Holidays and other breaks from the PDA are also to be reported. The reported hours are set off against the benefits. Whole weeks of work, holidays and breaks from the PDA scheme is not set off against the total of 52 weeks. The period will be prolonged with the paused weeks.

On the 1st of each month you will receive a link to make your report. The link is sent by mail and can always be found at Min side under “Beskeder”.

In the report you must:

  • Specify whether you have a new job by answering yes / no.
  • State working hours and workplace on the relevant days.
  • Enter vacation, leave and other breaks by clicking on the “PDA-pause” button on the relevant days.
  • Verify that the information given is correct by ticking off the declaration.

When you click the "Save" button, the report is sent to Pharmadanmark, and you receive a receipt by mail.

The form is open for editing up to and including the deadline, and you must save each time you edit. You will receive a receipt by mail each time you save your report.

Deadlines for the PDA deviates from the deadlines for the A-kasse
Support from the PDA covers periods of 4 or 5 weeks. Thus, the periods deviate from the periods of the A-kasse. The PDA's deadline for reporting is typically in the middle of the month, and the benefit is available in your bank account on the last banking day of the month. You will receive a pay slip via e-Boks.

Important information about deadlines
It is important that you comply with the deadlines for reporting - at worst, you risk losing weeks of support. To get the PDA benefits at the end of the month, you must comply with the deadline for reporting, which is always the last day of the PDA period and is mid-month.

If you do not adhere to the deadline of the period, you can still report up to and including the last day of the month. In that case, the benefit of the period will be available together with the benefit for the following PDA period at the end of the following month.

Example:
The period week 8-11 can be reported up to and including 17.03.2024, but if you report after the deadline on 17.03.2024, the benefit will not be paid until the end of April.

The last day of the month is the ultimate deadline and if this deadline is missed, the benefit for the period will not be paid.
