Student ambassador

A student ambassador at Pharmadanmark plays a central role in the organisation’s efforts to engage students within the life science field. The role has been developed as part of Pharmadanmark’s ambition to maintain a visible and active presence at higher education institutions, where the professionals of the future are shaped.

What does a student ambassador do?
Student ambassadors act as local representatives for Pharmadanmark at educational institutions across the country. They serve as a link between the association and students and are responsible for building connections, sharing knowledge, and increasing awareness of Pharmadanmark’s services and community.

This is done through:

Recruitment and outreach
Student ambassadors plan and staff booths during study start and participate in relevant events. Their goal is to engage with new students and introduce them to the benefits of membership.

Event planning and execution
Each ambassadoris responsible for at least two events per semester. These may include presentations, workshops, or social gatherings – often in collaboration with external partners.

Year-round visibility
Through outreach activities, regular booth days, and a consistent digital presence, the consultants ensure that Pharmadanmark remains visible at educational institutions – both physically and online.

Social media contributions
Student ambassador create content for Pharmadanmark’s Instagram and Facebook channels, focusing on student life, events, and membership benefits. They also share posts in student groups and forums.

Coordination and collaboration
The role involves close cooperation with Pharmadanmark’s team and other consultants. This includes status meetings, joint planning sessions, and two annual ambassador meetups.

The purpose of the role
The purpose of the student ambassador's role is to strengthen Pharmadanmark’s connection to student environments and recruit new members through relevant, personal communication. As the consultants themselves are part of the target group, they also contribute invaluable insights into what works in practice – from idea development to campaign execution.
