As a mentee in Pharmadanmark’s mentor program, you get a unique opportunity to receive guidance from an experienced professional who supports your personal and career development.
You'll have a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, be challenged, and find direction in your career. The mentoring sessions can focus on everything from career changes, leadership ambitions, and international opportunities to managing workload, setting priorities, or finding balance.
What do you want sparring on?
As a mentee, you set the direction for your mentoring journey. That’s why it’s important to clarify your goals when signing up. The clearer you are, the easier it is for us to match you with the right mentor.
Pharmadanmark will aim to pair you with a mentor who has experience with the challenges you’re facing. You can also indicate special preferences, such as whether your mentor should hold a PhD, be in a leadership role, or work in a specific industry. What matters most is that you explain why these preferences are important to you.
A mentor is not a professional coach or expert in your exact situation. They are a peer who voluntarily offers their time and experience to support you through reflection and conversation.
What does it take to be a mentee?
As a mentee, you’re expected to be engaged and take responsibility for the process. That means preparing for meetings, setting the agenda, following up on agreements, and actively working with what you discuss.
The mentoring program lasts about 10 months – from September to June. During this time, you’ll typically meet with your mentor 6 to 8 times, each session lasting around 90 minutes. Between meetings, you’ll be expected to continue your development on your own. It requires focus and commitment, but in return, you gain valuable support to strengthen both your professional and personal skills.
This is your project – and the more you invest in it, the more you’ll get out of it. It’s built on trust, openness, and the courage to be challenged.
