With PFA Health Insurance, you get fast access to medical consultations, examinations, and treatment at hospitals, clinics, and with specialists.
The insurance is available to all Pharmadanmark members and remains valid until retirement—up to a maximum age of 68.

Pharmadanmark members employed in the public sector are now also covered by health insurance through their pension plan with PFA. The scheme includes access to:

Physiotherapist, osteopath, and chiropractor (based on assessed need)

What to do if you need help
In-person consultations with a psychologist or physiotherapist require a doctor’s referral. All other treatments only require approval from the PFA Health Centre.
Note: If you are experiencing stress symptoms, you do not need a doctor’s referral to see a psychologist—just contact the PFA Health Centre directly.
You can file a claim either through Mit PFA or by calling the PFA Health Centre at +45 7012 5000.
Online services do not require prior approval.

From 1 January 2025, all pharmacists working in pharmacies will have their healthcare scheme provided by PFA instead of Tryg. This change is part of the collective agreement from spring 2024 and reflects the wishes of our members.
Now, your pension and healthcare scheme will be handled by the same provider—creating better synergy and ultimately delivering better benefits for you.
What does this mean for you?
If you work in a pharmacy, from 1 January 2025, you will be covered in the same way as with Tryg, but with these additional benefits:
- Online healthcare support: access to doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, family advisors, and coaches
- Psychological treatment
- Children under 24 are automatically covered by PFA Health Insurance
- Option to purchase PFA Health Insurance for children aged 24 to 28
- PFA Health Insurance available for your family
Your partner can also buy a PFA Health Insurance by completing a form on pfa.dk. If your partner signs up by 1 February 2025, any seniority from Tryg will transfer to PFA Health Insurance
Avoid double insurance
If you have purchased additional health insurance for your children or spouse/partner via Tryg, these policies will typically continue with Tryg. Remember to cancel these policies if you no longer need them to avoid double coverage.
Are you already in treatment?
If you are currently receiving treatment through Tryg, you can continue until 31 July 2025. After that, if you still need treatment, contact the PFA Health Centre to arrange further care.

Creating a digital will is quick and easy. Simply fill out the form at legaldesk.dk, where you’ll be asked many of the same questions a lawyer would pose. Shortly after, you’ll receive your completed will.
