Your TIN (Tax Identification Number) is used by tax authorities in both EU and non-EU countries to identify individual taxpayers. This information is shared across EU countries via your TIN, helping authorities determine where you are tax liable.

Obtaining your TIN can be time-consuming. Some individuals may find it difficult to locate or apply for their TIN, and some countries have long processing times before issuing it.

That’s why we strongly recommend that you request your TIN from the tax authorities in your country of residence as early as possible—preferably well before your PDA salary insurance payments are scheduled to begin

Pharmadanmark is not responsible for obtaining your TIN, and we cannot process or issue salary insurance payments (PDA) without a valid TIN on file.

If you live in an EU country, you can find information about how to locate your TIN on the European Commission's website. If you reside outside the EU, visit the OECD’s website, for more details.
