Denmark is the host country for one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical events – and Pharmadanmark is part of it.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) was the main headline of Monday's program at FIP’s World Congress in Copenhagen. The day opened with remarks from Denmark’s Minister of the Interior and Health, Sophie Løhde, and concluded with a ceremony where 80 organizations worldwide signed a declaration to fight AMR.
In 1982, Steffen Bager and Jesper Gulev Larsen were young students when they attended the FIP Congress. Back then, FIP visited Denmark – and this year, the World Congress returned to the Bella Center in Copenhagen. The reunion was a joyful one for the two men, who over the past 40 years have become strong and well-known profiles in the Danish pharmaceutical landscape.
