Executive Board
Pharmadanmark’s Executive Board is responsible for the organisation’s operations and finances. The Board also defines the political direction and provides overall political leadership.
Our Executive Board is responsible for the political leadership of the association, sets the political direction, and holds overall responsibility for the organisation’s operations and finances.
The Executive Board represents all sections of the association: Private sector, Pharmacy, Regions and municipalities, Government, and Students.
In addition, members of the Executive Board represent Pharmadanmark externally – for example by participating in conferences in Denmark and abroad, as well as in relevant committees and professional forums.
The Executive Board consists of nine members. Seven members are elected by and among the members. The eighth member is elected by and among Pharmadanmark Students. The ninth member is the President of the association, who also serves as Chair of the Executive Board.
The President is elected at the association’s representative meeting for a term of two years. The remaining board members are elected directly within the sections for two-year terms, with the possibility of re-election.
