The Study Fund
The Study Fund gives you the opportunity to develop professionally – without covering all costs yourself. You can receive funding to attend professional conferences, symposia and other events that strengthen your knowledge and network.
Support for your professional development
As a member of Pharmadanmark, you can apply for funding through our Study Fund.
You may apply if you are:
A qualified professional
Employed or actively seeking employment
What does the Study Fund support?
The Study Fund provides financial support for:
Travel expenses
Hotel accommodation
Conference or registration fees
Daily allowances in accordance with state rates (only during the professional part of the event)
Costs related to presentations (for example posters or oral presentations)
You can receive up to DKK 17,000 per application.
If you receive funding from another fund, this amount will be deducted from the support paid by the Study Fund.
Important information about the Study Fund
Am I eligible for funding from the Study Fund?
To receive funding, the following conditions apply:
You must actively participate and communicate your results (for example through a poster or presentation)
The fund only supports expenses related to conference participation – not education programmes
We must receive your application before any trip takes place
Funding is granted to one person per project only
A two-year waiting period applies if you have previously received travel support from the Study Fund
When should I apply?
You can apply throughout the year. Your application will be assessed after the next deadline.
Application deadlines are 1st February, 1st June and 1st October.
Please note: Your application must be submitted before you travel.
What must my application include?
To apply for funding, you must submit:
A completed application form
CV
Programme for the event (brief overview)
Abstract or summary
Acceptance of abstract (may be submitted later)
Documentation of budget items
Copies of applications to other funds and their responses
Please note: All attachments must be compiled into one electronic file. Links are not accepted.
When will the funding be paid?
If your application is approved, the funding will be paid once you have submitted documentation of your expenses.
