Antibiotic resistance is a growing health threat. As part of the AMR Alliance, we invite you to join us when experts and decision-makers from across Europe meet for a conference on antibiotic resistance, 19–20th of November 2025. The event will feature new solutions and concrete actions to help curb the rise of resistance.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the greatest health challenges of the future – and the threat is growing. Already today, resistance causes 1.3 million deaths each year worldwide, and according to the WHO, that number could rise to 10 million by 2050 if we fail to act now. That is why it is crucial that we find solutions.

As part of the AMR Alliance, we are pleased to invite you to tune in to a two-day conference on antibiotic resistance, taking place on 19 and 20th of November. The conference brings together experts and policymakers from Denmark and abroad, focusing on solutions and practical measures to fight antibiotic resistance.

Both conference days will be livestreamed, so everyone can watch

The conference will highlight the challenges of antibiotic resistance, its impact on patients, and how European hospitals are working to stop its spread. Leading experts will present new analyses and proposals for preventing infections, developing next-generation antibiotics, and strengthening Europe’s health preparedness.
