All workshops are free for Pharmadanmark members, held in English on Teams, and led by our experienced career counselors with deep insight into the Life Science industry.

You choose whether to join one, two, or all three workshops.

1. Assessment of motivation and competencies

The career paths within Life Science are many and they are very different. Which path is the right one for you? In order to be able to make good career choices, it is crucial both to be aware of what motivates and drives you in your working life, and to be able to put into words what kind of core competencies you have to offer an employer.

In this workshop, we provide you with tools to map and put into words what you are good at (competencies) and what drives you (motivation). These are the cornerstones of a good and efficient job search process and – in the long term – career well-being.

2. Make impact with your CV and cover letter

Although you hear time and time again that many positions are filled via networks, a targeted CV and a motivated application are unavoidable requirements in your job search.

There is no formula for the perfect application and the perfect CV, but once you have attended this workshop you will be able to:

• Analyze a job posting
• Arrange your application materials so that the employer sees you
• Target your materials to a specific position

Wednesday 22 October, 09:00–11:00

3. Get ready for the job interview

You have passed through the first step. You have a job interview and you must prepare to present yourself in the best possible way. During the job interview, you will have a dialogue about your professional background, your motivation and potential, and not least your personality. It is crucial that you stand razor sharp, but how do you do it?

In this workshop we will cover:

• How to best prepare yourself before the interview
• What you will face during the job interview, including personality and skills tests
• What you can do after the job interview
