Pharmadanmark at Synapse Career Fair 2024

Synapse is a non-profit, student-driven organisation dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and the Life Science sector, and the fair continues to be a vibrant meeting point between future talent and leading employers.

Pharmadanmark hosted a busy booth throughout the fair, where students lined up to hear more about our services. Our career counsellor also participated in a session where students could receive personalised CV feedback to better position themselves for the competitive Life Science job market.

We also contributed to the programme with a presentation on how to excel in job interviews in front of an engaged audience. The presentation gave insights into the recruitment process in the Life Science industry as well as tips and tricks for preparation and performance during the interview. The session attracted strong interest and sparked many conversations about career development and the transition from studies to industry.

This year’s fair brought together a wide range of companies and organisations across biotech, pharma, consulting, medtech, and research, including Lundbeck, Zealand Pharma, Novonesis, Coloplast, Bain & Company, Merck, Gubra, and many promising start-ups. For students, the event offered a unique chance to connect with potential employers and institutions and learn more about the competencies required to enter the job market.
