As a pharmacy pharmacist, you are employed under a collective agreement.
Part of this agreement includes participation in network groups, which pharmacy pharmacists are both entitled and required to join. These network meetings take place four times a year. You will be scheduled off duty for these days—and you will still receive your salary.
Terms for participating in a network for pharmacy pharmacists:
Pharmacists working more than 65 hours per month have both the right and the obligation to spend at least one day per quarter working in a local network group with other pharmacists. The tasks outlined in the agreement are included as part of the networking activities.
The pharmacy covers any transportation costs.
A local network group refers to your own or neighboring region(s). If network meetings are held outside these areas, the pharmacy owner must approve it.
An agenda will be shared in advance, and minutes will be prepared after each network meeting.
Part-time employees working more than 65 hours per month participate on equal terms with full-time employees. No compensation time off is granted if a network day falls on a regular day off or extends beyond normal working hours.
