The Study Fund

The Study Fund gives you the opportunity to apply for financial support to attend professional congresses, symposia, or other events that help you grow your knowledge and network. It’s your chance to develop professionally—without covering all the costs yourself.

Support your professional development

As a member of Pharmadanmark, you can apply for funding from our Study Fund if you:

  • Have completed your pharmacy degree

  • Are employed or actively seeking employment

What the Study Fund covers

You can apply for support to cover:

  • Transport costs

  • Hotel expenses

  • Congress or registration fees

  • Daily allowances according to state rates (for the academic portion of the event only)

  • Costs related to presenting, such as posters or oral presentations

You can receive up to DKK 17,000 per application. Any funding received from other sources will be deducted from your Study Fund grant. The grant will be paid out upon submission of original receipts for your expenses.

Purpose of the study fund

The fund aims to:

  • Support social and scientific initiatives

  • Provide grants for participation in professional congresses

  • Fund active participation in congresses according to set criteria

  • Award academic prizes

Conditions for receiving funding

To be eligible for Study Fund support:

  • You must actively participate and share your results (e.g. via poster or presentation)

  • Funding is limited to congress-related expenses and does not cover degree programmes or formal education

  • You must apply before your travel begins

  • Only one person per project can receive support

  • A two-year waiting period applies if you have previously received Study Fund travel support

  • You must apply to other relevant funding sources first

Required documentation

Your application must include:

  • Completed application form

  • CV

  • Short programme overview for the event

  • Abstract or summary

  • Acceptance of abstract (can be submitted later)

  • Documentation for all budget items

  • Copies of applications to other funds + any responses

All documents must be submitted in a single electronic file. Links are not accepted.

Application deadlines

You can apply year-round. Your application will be reviewed after the next deadline:
1 February, 1 June, or 1 October

Remember: your application must be submitted before your travel begins.
